The Birds and Boards fishing vessel at this moment in time is a 18ft 2020 Carolina Skiff JLS powered with a 115hp Suzuki. This is the first year of the JLS model and it isn’t like your flat bottom skiff, it has a really nice V that allows it to cut through wake and chop beautifully while still being able to get into the backwater. I’ve added a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor with spot-lock and a great fish finder with side scan to make the fish a little easier to find.
